9.
When I want small and light, I take my Panasonic GM5 with the 12-32 zoom. Always surprises me how good the pictures are for such a little package. EVF not great, but it least it's built in. I also have the small Pan 35-100. Same for that lens.

 11.
Arthur, I probably did do some brick wall shooting when I first got the lens, but don't have those photos anymore. My experience is that the lens stopped down can be very sharp center and border, but does lose resolution in the very corners. At maximum aperture, the lens is noticeably less sharp and lower contrast, but still okay in the center. I bought it for landscape photography, so I can work around that.

The Great falls picture was shot at 1/200 and probably f/5.6 or f/8. The spring house picture probably does suffer from lack of DOF at the top. I was standing close to the house, so the trees at the top were quite a bit further away.

PNet provided the magnifier. That is a nice feature!

 12.
Here is another with more distant focus. The lens seems to lose a little with closer focusing.

 13.
I've been using a Olympus 24mm F/2.8 MC lens on the A7. Been getting some nice results, if stopped down to f/5.6 or 8. Fairly sharp right to the edges. I'm still getting the hang of focusing manually. Need more practice on that.

 14.
Very cool feature. Looks like for now it only works with the Olympus 60mm macro, and Pro 12-40 and 40-150. Don't have any of these lenses, but tempted to get the 60mm just for that feature.

 15.
I've been using the Kipon OM-NEX adapter on my A7. The focus scale seems to be accurate, as far as I can tell. Have only used it with the Olympus 24mm F/2.8, so not the most critical focal length to judge. Adorama sells the Kipon in a number of different mounts. They are very well made.

 16.
Another thought would be go into your camera menu and turn down some of the jpeg default settings. Maybe cut back on saturation, contrast, noise reduction, etc. Then increase those things as needed in Photoshop. Much better to adjust later then try to reduce what the camera has added.
