  1. Hmmm, where have I seen the 'frozen jump into the Ganges,' before... still I find your composition intriguing with some original elements.. I enjoy the additional complexity of this shot in particular the curved hook between the two boys and the wire and girder shapes. However I've found that more complex images such as this don't translate as well onto the screen.. larger print must be excellent. Begs to be bw, I'm not sure if you're a purist but did you try a bw conversion?

Agree with Marc, if you can bring out a little more shadow detail and hold some wall detail top right I think the lighting adds to the composition. Well done.

Excellent juxtaposition of two persons obviously in differing circumstances. Great eye to see the interesting and somehow appropriate wall behind them. Guatemala is a fascinating place to photograph once one gets past the 'pretty' shots.. well done.

Advice!!?? This is a beautiful shot, captures the 'moment' in portrait, relaxed and unposed. When I see images like this here I always wonder what the actual print looks like.. this would be for me what would take your image to the 'next level.' I hope there's a nice toned print in your portfolio or framed somewhere. Well done.

I find this shot intriguing. The composition is not routine but not that unusual either, face in foreground leading the observer into the image. Nice image.

Excellent stitch job. Too much contrast for my taste. Would have been better either slightly over cast day or, since you didn't mind the stitch why not multiple exposure and layering to get some detail into those interesting archways.

What a lovely shot...M..... re your question, I think you've got the tones right. I'm no bw printing expert but I think this would be an excellent application for some bleach toning.

Geez... just happened to have your Mamiya handy.. I sick with envy. How fast can you fire off a few frames?? The guy in the center is unfortunate but since you didn't mind enhancing the background blur I wonder if it might be stronger with him blurred a bit into the background??
