Sorry Ken, I meant to mention it in the caption. Ramesh Krishnan was a tennis player in the mid 1980's. I think he was the Indian no.1 (though I'm not sure about that). I know he also had a famous father. Thanks for the comment.

Caught the moment well. I particularly like the background movement. The tilting of the image works for me, especially as the car looks like its fighting the slope by turning it's wheels to fight it. The colours seem too saturated, maybe needs more contrast.

Lovely colours, good exposure Would have liked to see more sky above (if there is any). Nice texture in the ocean. This shot has great potential. Maybe cropping more on the left (as far in as the main cloud). And the horizon needs straightening. Would give it higher rating otherwise.

What a face, a photographers dream, well captured. Yes, more DOF would have helped, but it's not enough of an issue to detract from a supurb portrait.

Disturbing and fascinating at the same time. Looks technically well executed on the face. Have you considered a holding keyline around the right side to give it balance? The cut out of the hair on the left may need a little more work. An interesting idea :)
  1. I like this image, very David Baily/Mary Quant. I would suggest trying a version with more contrast and moving the image very slightly to the right (seems left heavy) but they're only small points. Nice shot.

A nice portrait, but I think it needs more contrast. Maybe you could try printing on a higher grade of paper (if you're working in the darkroom) or increasing the brigtness & contrast or adjusting the levels if you're working digitally. Be careful not to lose detail in her hand though.
