Compositionally this is a nice image. Though there lacks feeling or emotion to make this a great photograph. Maybe as part of a series this would be stronger.
The local seems to be great one, yet the boat seems to be out of place (time line wise). Your other photograph in the the Feedback Forum was the stronger of the two images IMO.

I am drawn to strong graphical elements.

Really like it as a series.

Thanks, here is a crop of another image of the same subject...

Nice image. Has a editorial fee to it. I would take it in Photoshop and maybe remove the white lines on the left side of the street. This would give the impression that she is the source of the lines.

A good image to start from. A slightly different point of view would be better IMO. Meaning shoot it so that the statute is more to right maybe.

More of my efforts to move my photography from static subjects to
people, particularly in Street Photography.

I have always enjoyed abstarct photos, and this is a very strong image for me.

Like the tonality of the image. Though something seesm to be missing.

It might just work without the shoulders...

Nice concept. I agree its seems more editorial, but since there is no catagory for that...
Here is a suggested crop and burn....

Like the image overall. Though I would have liked it cropped differently, and a little darker....

The colors drew me in. What would have helped was more detail in the figure. Just a pop of fill might have worked....

I have always been drawn to balance in graphical elements. That is
what caught my eye when I was walking around the fair grounds.
What do you think, does this image work?
Thanks

How is this one?

Another in the series of photographs from the Loudoun County Fair. This girl was "sheparding" her sibling. The little one was having too much fun in the stable area.
I like the image from a tonality aspect, and the general lighting. Not sure that it works on any other level. What do you think?
Thanks for rating and your comments

As a travel picture I think that this works very well.
-
Actually I would prefer it without the mountian, just a play on colors....

Nice image. Captures the moment. I would have liked to have some balance with some more people on the left though.
-
Strong elements, love the overall image. Though I would see about toning done the window some....

Congrats on a great image! You recieved my very first 10/10 rating! Wonderful execution of an idea.

This was a "mistake" sort of. I was using the Xpan in standard 35mm format. Did a scan and this image appeared. I really liked the abstract nature of teh image.
Lookinh to hear what you all have to say...
