  1. Rebel 2000 supports E-TTL flash, FP flash (high synchro flash) and FEL (flash exposure lock)- With E-TTL flash as 420 EX, 550 EX or 220 EX. It dosent support modeling flash, second curtain synchro, FEC (flash exposure compensation),

The main mprovements on the new Rebel TI versus Rebel 2000 are metal lens mount and red light blonking focusing points

  2. Hello,

I have an EOS 30/Elan 7E with , 420EX flash and a third party TTL

    flash.

Is there any option to use one of these 2 flashes as a slave one

without having the expensive wireless Canon flash system (550EX,

    ST-E2, ...)?

    Thanks for your answer

  3. Hello,

    I've just received my new Elan 7E. I used a Rebel2000. I noticed on

the Elan 7E that the black felt seal on the edge of the focusing

screen which is touched by the mirror when it goes up is discontinued

at the center and dosent cover all the edge of the focusing screen,

only 2/3 of it. It covers all the edge on the Rebel 2000.

Is this normal on the Elan or it is a problem with the body i

received? see below a picture of the seal on my Elan 7

    Thanks for your answer

  4. Thanks Kevin. They use tungestan light.

I asked a local photography shop for the advise (i had in mond the portra NC or the Fuji NPH cause i saw some nice photos of weddings done with these films), the shop advised me the Royal Gold, I think this film gives very saturated colours , right ?

I think I will try the portra NC

  5. Hello,

I have a friend's baby baptism soon, could you suggest me a print

negative film to do some photos ? should I use a consummer film or a

    pro film ?

I will use a 50/1.8 lens and/or 28-105 lens, the flash is allowed in

the church, the baby will have white dress

    Thanks for your suggestions

  6. Hello,

I use a Rebel 2000 with a 420 EX and some EF lenses, I am satisfied of

    this equipment.

    Only 2 problems I have :

1 The focusing points in the view finder are not easy to see in low

    light conditions.

2- Information in the view finder are so small and not enough bright,

so sometims it is not very easy to read these information in outdoor

    high light conditions.

Do you think with an EOS Elan which I consider to buy would I still

have these problems ? any advise ?

    Thanks
