I spent some time tonight trying out long exposure night photos
architecture and the activity going on around. This picture is at the
central campus transit center for the University of Michigan. During the
exposure, a bus pulled right up close to where my tripod was setup and I
released the shutter after about 5 secs of the bus stopping.
Anyway, I'd appreciate any C&C on this shot. This is one of my first
times trying out long exposures on the Bulb setting. Photo is shown
SOOC.

Great shot, Tim! My family and I live in Ann Arbor and Hudson Mills is one of our favorite parks to visit. We've crossed this bridge many times, so it was a nice surprise to see it featured on PN.

I took this picture of family members on the carousel while on vacation. I
cropped the original image to tighten up the frame, but wanted to get
input on the image both creatively and technically for ways that it could
be not "plain" looking. I'd appreciate any feedback from you all. I
unfortunately took this shot when the pole was smack in the middle of
my father-in-law, but I like the rest of it :)

This picture was a candid moment taken during an afternoon of apple
picking, the girl is my daughter and the boy is the son of our friends. I'd
appreciate any comments and constructive criticism on the photo. thanks!

Wow, this photo is breathtaking! You really get a sense of majesty and soaring heights with the mountain as a backdrop and the tall narrow trees along the road.

We took this photo (after 20 some attempts) to give the
grandmothers for Mother's Day. It was a bright sunny day at about
mid-afternoon. I'm getting a lot more into photography with our
recent purchase of the Digital Rebel XTi (I previously had a Elan
7E, but only used it on trips and special occassions). I'd like to get
input from people in the photographic community on ways that this
type of photo could be improved. Thanks for viewing and
critiquing!
