Beautiful scene and nicely composed. Personally I would have backed off just a little bit on the "HDR" effect. As you can see, lots of people do like this effect, however, so you have to do what you like for yourself.

OK its winter, and getting out in nature in my favorite woods on the

bike has not been a option this winter with the icy trails. So I

start seeing stuff around the house when I get itchy to photograph

something. The sunlight is stronger now in the late afternoon,

showing up in various places like this basket of apples and oranges.

Walked in the house after work today and couldn't help noticing the

play of light on the walls.

Wonderful muted colors and forms.  I am especially drawn to this because of its similarity to a woods where I mountain bike most of the year which has an area of trees that are often in standing water due to overflow from the Mississippi.

Thanks, Leslie.  I think I noticed this image from last year because I am stuck in the dreary winter weather and thinking about Spring and the colors of the woods when things are growing.

Beautiful!  Great shot with window light.  You caught a natural expression too, which is often difficult with kids (or anybody).   I probably would have unobtrusively darkened the white panels on the right, they are a little distracting.

Another neighbor's house has massive vines in front of her house. In

the winter the brown vine stalks are impressive.

Love the way you caught this guy about to walk off the edge of the frame.
