    Samantha - the forms and lines here are excellent, it does what I want an abstract photo to do in that it makes me appreciate the composition while I wonder what the subject is. The heavy (?) use of Photoshop filters to me is distracting ... I'd be interested to see the image without the modifications.

    Alex- I like this a lot, really like the color on the fingernails and stress on the hands. My only complaint is that the background is a little muddled, it blends in a bit with the model and I'd prefer to have sharper contrast there. Cheers!

    I have experimented quite a bit with shots like this myself. The line of the highway works very well here, although I would perhaps have tried to make it terminate at a different point in the rock. The feedback I would have for you here is that the rocks seem slightly overexposed, while the background is muddy and dark, although I imagine this was taken in difficult lighting conditions. Was flash used?

    Linda - thank you for your comment! These are actually gumballs in a gumball dispenser. :) There is definitely a fair amount of photoshop work here, ... I think the result is a nice colorful abstract.

    Great depth of field choice, I like the water in sharp focus ... although I have to admit that I have absolutely no idea what the heck I'm looking at here. :)

    Well composed, good lighting - this shot depresses the heck out of me. :) A good departure from the portraits I usually see on p.net.

    Very interesting shot - there's not enough detail for me to consider it abstract, and there's just enough detail that I want to see more. I'm not sure what to make of it, except that I like the image and yet am somehow not satisfied.

    This is maybe my favorite photo in your portfolio, I really like the soft focus/lighting with the texture in the background. Then again, I'm a sucker for this sort of thing :)

    Excellent shot! Great color, and very patient of you - I get sick of waiting for insect shots. ;) I do wish that the depth of field was a bit broader, but I know that's difficult here. Good work!
