Thank you- yes I was inside my vehicle on the way to a hike when we spotted this bear. Beautiful animal but would not want to be this close on foot.

Thank you Vincent for the kind words. The RF 800 has been impressive in certain conditions. It is hand holdable and relatively inexpensive for this focal length. Definitely a good piece of kit to have. -
An amazing variety of food these little guys pack away. Not many veggies though :-)…. -

Yes TmJ it’s been 20 years since I purchased my first SLR. I took some community night school photography courses and it was one of the instructors that mentioned photo.net as a resourceful tool. Some of the images on my profile are actually scans from slide film! Should probably cull some images . I did have a bit of a bit of a hiatus when my daughter was born. Now that she’s older I’m back at it every chance I get!
