Spatula - reflection- (Platalea leucorodia). I photographed this spatula at dawn in the Cagliari lagoons on a windless day with calm water that allowed this clear reflection, Nikon D 300s, Sigma supertele 300-800mm, f / 5.6, 1/6400 sec, ISO 400. Thanks for your comments

it's almost as if the spoonbill was flying over a mirror, the surface of the water looks extremely tranquil. The viewing angle and the direction of the light show both its head and its wings in an appealing position and with a lot of clarity. I like the limited color palette; it enhances the impression of graphic art. Kind regards, Vincent

Giangiorgio,, if other comments hadn't noted the water's perfect calm, I would have thought that the image is abstract. What an aesthetically grand photograph. FWIW, SE Florida also has spoonbills, albeit of a different variety. - - My best always, michael - - - Ciao!
