tm_j 30 Posted January 3, 2022 Thanks Scott Edwardson! Actually, the one that ate the mouse a few weeks back is a male Kestrel and this one is a female. The male has black dots on the front (chest) and the female has vertical light brown stripe. From my observation of this pair, the male is a meat eater (mostly) and look for mice. This female, she tend to eat bugs, grasshopper, flydragon .. ect. This is the first time I caught her break her veggie fasting. :-) Link to comment
Todd Kraenzel 1 Posted January 3, 2022 Outstanding capture! It is amazing how you are able to get so many great raptor shots. What a treat for all of us! Warmest regards, Todd Link to comment
tm_j 30 Posted January 3, 2022 Thanks Todd Kraenzel! Good to hear from you! Actually, just like all of us, these birds eat often and it's just a matter of having to catch them at their meal time. Also, just like us, they tend to be creature of habit and eat at the same time, same place too. :-) Link to comment
