Wonderfull 6/7

This was an experiment using a 4x microscope lens on a set of
bellows, after set up it took about 2 hours from the first photo in a
combinez stack to opening it in photoshop. The sharpness falls off
towards the edges, but the image is not cropped.

Thanks Dave :)

An experiment with a reversed lens and a mill, thanks for looking :)

It may be cheating but i would be tempted to burn the hand in a little, just for a little more impact, fantastic colours :).

Cracking shot, just the right distance.

The two males had a little discussion, the bigger male is on the
left, and got a kiss from the female on the right, in a similar
manor to that with which he chased off the little male. Alas this is
a zoo pic, but they still kept some of their natural behaviour and
for the picture i had the background unobtrusive by waiting untill i
had strong backlignting but there are still some obsticles.
Criticisms always welcomed.
Thanks for looking

These guys were really sweet, curious enough to come up and see what
was happening, but still wagging their tails with annoyance at the
interuption to their bird watching.
thanks for looking

The boxing skull (lightbulb) shot is wonderfull, except that when the wife gets back she will ask why the appartment is so dark, after i try it my self. I think the liquid is water, it wasnt coated in anything by me, but the tree sap/fire retardent/water or whatever liquid there is in the match comes out when it boils, and i think the products of combustion of hydrocarbons (cellulose) in oxygen are CO2 and water so maybe it condences on the first cold thing it meets. The smoke on the bulb is scary though, i hate to think what that has in, hopefully the flat won't smell too much of mercury :)

Thankyou, thats very helpfull, one of the reasons for the retake was the lack of focus, so will do , or at least try to, that was the best out of about 50, it is difficult keeping up with the subject.
The droplet is an excelent idea, perhaps a little off yellow liquid would help, i will have to find out from the owner what is the most correct, if he doesn't mind cheating too much, it would make it a much more interesting picture :)
