Take a look at the whole "Berlin" folder.
Thanks!

I wouldn't go fo the selective saturation. This is an effect that looks too "fake". Go for full color or B&W instead.

Well, I'd say this is not a keeper for the way you cropped the hand, you say you chose to crop it but I still think you should have tried to frame with the hand not cropped.
I don't like super sharp and contrasty portraits as well, and I don't like pictures that "humanize" animals... that's because everyone else is doing pictures like this, so I feel like the photographer is trying to please the viewer more than achieve something he has in mind.
So, sorry about being so harsh... you can come in my portfolio and leave some harsh comment on my pics as well if it'll make you feel better, I'd actually appreciate it :)

A look inside this famous Berlin building.

People looking at the beatiful view from the famous tower in Berlin.

Just a simple view from this beautiful city.

Rhino aside, if you ever happen to find yourself in Berlin take a
small trip to postdam (45 minutes train), it's worth it.

An installation inside this well known museum. The people walking on
the bronze faces generated a metallic sound that was very disturbing.
I'll be posting some more of my pictures of my recent trip to Berlin
soon, so come back if you are interested.

Took this one year ago. Since I'm about to leave for a trip to
Berlin, I decided to take a look at my pictures of Germany and
tought this (cropped from a larger picture) is not so bad.
Hope you'll leave some comments!

I find this image quite dull instead.
There's no relation between the snake, the girl and the background. Might as well be a collage of 3 pictures. Why is the girl not scared? Pheraphs it's her own "pet"? What place is this?

Now, I like this much more than the other picture. Actually, I believe you could sell this to major picture magazines worldwide. The color, sense of movement and action all make for a very suggestive image.

I don't really think this is such a good photo. The contrast and exposure make it look more like a painting (wich might be good for someone) but the position is ankward and I don't really understand what's going on. For once in 1000 bird pictures we get to see the full eagle, so maybe that's what everyone is so excited about? :)

Sorry for not stopping by lately! Now this reminds me of your old problem with alcohol... but why give up when it's so fun? :)

I find there is nothing really interesting in the whole upper right part, while the bottle feels out of place not because it's plastic but because it's clear and shiny while everything is dark. Burn the bottle a little and you are done, or just leave it this way since it's a great picture no real need to mess with it.

I've been following you for quite some time now, and I must say your work has greatly improved over time. Dedication and love brought great results, congratulations!

I like this a lot. Could be a little more polished: better background, remove highlight, more texture on the face. I'd make it much darker with a curves mask to make this even more creepy, but that's your choice.

I think you used too many photoshop filters, and the frame is really annoying. I believe (but others may think differently, of course) that the simpler the editing on a picture the better the final result.

A new serie I'm working on. This might seem similar to my
previous "church" pictures, but this time I'm focussing more on the
small items and subjects.

I immediately recognized this was Italy :) As many similar shots I have taken as well, there is a bit too much stuff in the frame, expecially the two lamps.

Very well done, you are really getting good at this :) My only minor comment is that the egg is not blending with the background as good as the rest, but maybe it's my monitor and the compressed size.

The texture on the skin looks great, but I think it doesn't work well on the ear. Looks like a photoshop gradient or mask that wasn't properly adjusted. I know this requires a lot of work... that's the main reason I stopped editing my pictures :)
