lately i've been thinking if i'm not submitting a cracker-jack photo
of a bird plucking a fish from a stream i'm just not going to get any
attention on photo.net. and i can't take a picture of a bird to save
my life. really.

there should probably be an "alt" category. "fine art" seems too
stuffed with perfectly lit 6x7 photos of naked women in fetal
positions. thanks for your time.
(and yes i know about the blown highlights) :-)

not sure if the blobs on the side serve as framing mechanisms or if
they should just be cropped out....

for what it's worth, this is a news photo, i'd be just as happy with it were it president bush, pat buchannan, or smarty jones.

well, it's nicely exposed and wonderfully sharp with great DOF, but i'm not really liking the pose or the composition. legs and hands are nice, but her expression isn't the right one. -
