  1. Try this place: Paulista Foto – Laboratório Fotográfico Profissional

    Avenida Angélica, 2057

I know nothing about them, but their website seems more or less current, and says they offer E6 processing.

Dustin, thanks for the answer. I was in Paulista Foto yesterday; no more E6 , just C41 e BW. I shoot 90% in BW, I myself develop and enlarge , but sometimes I enjoy remembering the unbeatable dead Kodachrome 25 and so I use Velvia. .

  2. I was asked to photograph the interior of a drugs factory. Could you

help me answering the following: Utilizing strobes and 1/250 or 1/500

sec shutter speeds on my lenses, it will be enough to avoid the

invasion of the fluorescent (green) cast ?

    Thanks a lot.

  3. Michael, see thread: Accessories>Polaroid film holder ; aug 09,2002-> Ted Harris: ...never attempt to check focus ... That's true; I can't also see focus in the whole area of the image in my Polaroid tests (120 AND 4x5).

    Regards. Sergio Caetano.

  4. I bought a Metz 45CL-1. Its manual declares 45 as Guide Number. After

    several tests I concluded 22/32 as true/effective GN, i.e. 1 1/2

fstops less than Metz user manual. Did anybody experience that ?

In the past we heard/said: "...this is an excellent quality product,

    it is german made..."

    That was in the past...

  5. I bought a Polaroid film holder (model 405). It doesn't fit in my BJ

Orbit camera (same as old Calumet), there is no room in the back of

camera for the thickness of film holder. Any suggestions ? Or may I

    give up?

    Thanks

    (Sergio Caetano)

  6. Bob,

I make lensboards for my cameras using aluminum and more recently

using fenolite. I have never concerned about that "light trap ring"

you mention also in other past post. I haven't had any problem that

way, so I think that "light trap ring" is useless.

  7. Joel

I have one with SN 6318 and I'm happy with it. I'm sure you'll enjoy

it. Lensboards are 99mm x 96mm Linhof / Wista type. Instead of

paying the ridiculous US$ 135,00 for the original Linhof, buy Wista

or no-brand lensboard at B&H for US$ 40,00. Better than that, make

yourself your lensboards; I make mine using "fenolite" material, some

(synthetic ?) fiber used for chip boards.

    <p>

    Good luck

  8. Please,is there anybody who knows, by the chemichal point of view,if aluminium trays have some inconvenience for sheet film development ? I (and everybody) know that stainless steel, glass and plastic are the leaders for that purpose, but the shelves of domestic goods presently have plenty of aluminium stuff which inspire me using them in developing tasks. They are of several sizes, shapes and with little adaptations can be light proof.

    Thanks a lot.
