Sorry, but in MVHO, this is not a good shot. Just a flare affect, quite impossible to obtain with this lens. A diffuser is something else... nver heard of the Z.... filter?

More or less that is true. I have seen a scratched M6 titatium no more than a few days ago. It was terrific: to pay 500 Euros more on a used and scratched M6 just because titanium!

The new M7 has no flare at all because in Solms they mount the new MP rangefinder even on the M7 model. The problem is to know the serial number from which they started to use the new rangefinder with the M7.
But, luckly for you, I know that number...

You are discussing about a maths question but you are not considering the fact that the exposure value depends on the lens you are using. A 90mm is not a 28 mm and the weight (!) of light you are introducing into the camera is completly different.
Secondly: it depends even from the distance you are measuring the light. 0,30 m is not 30 m or infinitive.....
To shoot a landscape is not as shooting in macro, because the distance make the difference in the quantity of the light.

The new viewfinder (no flare) of the MP now is applied also in the
M7. This is the official answer I had from Solms. Then I asked wich
is the number of the M7 from which you started to introduce the new
viewfinder (no flare). Thier answer: We do not take account of the
registration number of the Leice we produce. (??????!!!!!!).
And they say, they are Germans! It is really true that the wolrd is
no more as it was once!.

Recently I used my Nocti inside a museum during ans excellent exposition about the Egiptian civilisation. I was forced to use it at 1,0 with 1/10 or even 1/4 of second, hand hold! My camera was a M3 with x1,25 magnification!!!! No problem at all! Beautiful images!

You can't change simply the Asa to obtain a right metering of the light!!!!!!!!!!!! With other battier you can destroy your Gossen. There a special adapter: Gosen Battery adapter V204A for non mercury batteris. Ask you local dealer.

For what we know here, in the old Europe, there will be all the three viewfinder i.e.: 0.58; 0.72; 0.85.
The cost will be approxmaly the same of the M7.
