1.
Alex,
Thank you. I'll go ahead and order one.
Best Wishes

 2.
Alex,
Does the lens hood screw-on or does it fit over the bayonet mount. I've looked at the hoods on-line and thought it was a bayonet fit.
Best Wishes
Ian

 3.
Sorry - I should have added that Mifsuds (located in Devon, England) currently have a Mamiya Pro S Polaroid Back for £29 (29 Pounds Sterling) although there is no condition stated.

 4.
The Fuji films work in the backs I have for my Mamiya RZ, Hasselblad 503CW and Polaroid 600SE, so if your RB back is not that old I assume it would work.
I don't think any of the Impossible instant films will work - and I have had poor quality images from this films that I used in my 'new' Polaroid SX-70. The colours were poor and not at all comparable with the images I took - and still have in all their vibrancy - nearly 30 years ago!
Ian

 5.
Have you got the switch around the shutter release button at the correct setting? If it is pointing to the left (as you look directly at the button) the camera is off; with the button pointing to the bottom the camera is on and the lights should come on; with the button pointing to the right it is on 1/400 "Emergency Setting" and the lights may not come on. I am sure all RZ users have made this error at some point.
Best Wishes
Ian

 6.
Greg,
Many thanks for the link to the B&H pages, a fascinating source of information. Do you know the year of publication?
Best Wishes

Ian

 7. This photo is from my first film with the Fuji GX617. I realise that it is not one of the world's greatest panoramas but wanted to share it with you. I took the image vertically as the horizontal view didn't have much of interest (I wanted to finish the film as it was my first one!). As many of you know you only get 4 frames per roll of 120 - the first one was OK (of the end of a London Fashion Week catwalk show - lots of contrast), the second one failed (I may have forgotten to cock the shutter!), and the third one was also from the fashion show. I scanned this image on an Epson Perfection V750 Pro using a Lomography Digitaliza 120 Film Scanning Mask.

 15.
I've just been playing around with my GX7 and 45-175 lens - which has Power Zoom - using my iPad Mini, and I am able to focus on different parts of the image and zoom in and out. I realise that the 45-175 (90 to 350 equivalent on full-frame) would not be suitable for your current purposes but I assume this would also work with the 14-42 lens.

 16.
Some mirror-less cameras can shoot using Bluetooth, which could help with your requirement to be 'tethered'.

 19.
The Gimbal heads work better with tripods. There's not that much space in the photographers' area and so monopods are used.
