Canon ,Sony, Nikon join together against fake A1 images. Photography, to my mind is getting out there and exploring the world. Sitting in your bedroom, hunched over a computer, stealing other folk images seems to be a amazing boring thing to do.

Someone abusing that, putting a moustache on it, for money Hmm....Perhaps some folk would like to have a silly giggle without respect for the Artist. What is a tool? Methinks, its a imaginative piece of Art which enables you to express your Art. Without the tool where would be the Art? Unfortunately some folk think they can project their Art by some form of mind projection.. Silly giggle folk, disrespecting the Imaginative Art, which creates the tools to express the Art/ Imagination.

Leonardo da Vinci Was very thoughtful about the tools he used. What does that say? Indeed, part of his art/vision. And of all others in the classical world.

But, why not take photos from a specifically designed device, to support your photographic desire.? Yes, iPhone you can put in your pocket, always with you. So, there are many far superior photographic devices you can put in your pocket .Laziness comes to mind. I suppose simplicity and convivence are the operative words. Why have to think...a troubling concept.

"Nice ,Rich" Great on a low res monitor. Clinical, and lack defined. sharpness. Sort of like a photo of a hospital ward. iPhone photographers will wet themselves in appreciation.

There's a semi celebrity fashion photography who only uses a Olympus Muji 1 film camera. Sort of I'm very special because I only use a point/shoot film camera. I'm a very special photographer because I use a iPhone. Hmm.

Last time I tried to use my Smart phone was a confrontation between a Magpie and Paragon Falcon, over a carcass.. The Magpie was not backing down indeed very belligerent. Then my phone rang and they both flew away. Hey Ho. "can walk and chew gum at the same time," Sam. Indeed, I pass on the chewing gum thing. Simplistic software easily emulated in any decent software editing tool. Yes, you can take great photos with any device! And yes, you have taken photos with your photo copier. Manufactories have spent many years creating cameras with good handling qualities, large sensors, and high quality lenses., fast autofocus. Let us throw all that into the bin just for the sake of convenience , simplicity . Indeed, let us all be happy with takeaway food,; why bother to cook or go to a restaurant. .

The Highway or Byway? Does it matter? Nope. Personally I prefer the byway, although both go to the same place. The journey, is the journey, and reaching the destination is all what matters to many folk. Convenience/Simplicity. Little else matters.
