I take it that this is a "Back Hoe" :0), nice abstract image.

Of course it is all subjective, but somehow it just does not come off for me and I can't really pin it down why. Maybe it is the movement in the clouds, but I think more likely it is the absence of detail in the lower center of the image. Nice image anyway. Or, try flipping the image so that the eye which travels left to right is not focused on the subject coming in on the left side of the image. ???

Nice image Don, the stiching looks good, but really can't tell at this size. I like the color mood. Too bad more people arn't critiquing now, I'm seeing some really nice images pass by without a rating.

This is a great example of Minolta's new anti shake body tech. Shot
standing, no support. 35mm focal length = 420mm. Slight Crop otherwise
as shot with the Z3.

I think that some more detail in the foreground would really help. I like the image but without foreground detail I would crop it on the bottom. If you have CS, did you try shadow/highlight. Sometimes it works great, sometimes it wrecks the image.

hi Jana, maybe it is just my old tired eyes but the focus just seems soft all the way thru. the color is great. did you unsharp it after reducing it's size?
-
Very nice. I would perfer the foreground to be a couple of shades lighter to just pick up some detail.

This one to me is much more visually stimulating. The hot areas are perceived as intended and work well, even adding to the Chow's perceived personality as agressive. Nice image

Good shot, caught him very alert. Depth of field is OK, I ould perfer a little more personally, but to each his own. I think the whites are overexposed, very hot. Other than that good animal portrait.
