Well seen, nice abstract. I like this tighter crop than the photo version behind it. I might try it with a little more saturation. Still a 6/6.

The dogs have expressions that can only be read as "lets go". From many years in the field have seen it many times in dogs and sons. Spectacular image Matt. I spent an hour the other evening browsing your portfolio and was awed by the field shots. Fun shots, the "Britteny" and the grouse, wow.

Thanks for critique on this Sepia conversion.

Super nice. Not often I get to see a really great dog image. Reminds me of the old days. Only a hunter could appreciate. Well done.

Hi Shawn, Unfortunately this photo was taken in the Big Bend area of Texas. Very remote but a favorite place for me. This is part of a complete town that is in various states of dis repair. I liked it as a photo op but is just too far away, even for people who live in Texas.

Straighten up your horizon line, maybe some more contrast & saturation I think it would work better. Seems like good action on the horse and rider.

I was in a rush to get to work. I saw this shot out of the corner of my eye as I passed. Naw, no way I'm missing that shot, I'll be late to work. About a mile later I got a chance to turn around. Thought I would miss it by the time I got back. Luckly, my camera was set to bracket 3 at + or - .5 stops on manual. I took 11 shots off the top of a fence post.

Hi Shawn, you are more than welcome anytime. Bring lots of memory. Elkhorn Slough near me is a photographers dream for wildlife and waterscapes. This is a photo from Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto. Of course the sphere was added. The Stanford Campus is quite nice. Good landscaping and interesting architecture. By the way I really like your junkyard series. All the images in that series are wonderful.
