Take a look at the y-pod.
1/4 sec no problem , i will be shooting a complete wedding with this pod shortly using a c330s + 80mm + prism and mounted metz 45.

In general , if your shooting weddings , standard lens , 1/250 sec ,
with flash 1/60.
With the zoom , 1/60 at the short end , 1/250 long.
Mid range , 65-75 1/125 , really depends on your tecnique and ability ?
Why not carry out your own test`s.
Take a look at the test chart on my pages.

Just as a matter of interest , take a look at the y-pod.

Just as a matter of interest, take a look at the y-pod?
knocks spots off a monopod.

The c330 without a doubt. Don`t limit yourself to a fixed lens!

The s.s.c. lens has a special coating.

It has to be the square format! If a portrait, either single, double or environmental, requires a square composition then thats your answer.
I think to shoot it 6*4.5 would be a compromise. Shoot square and keep your options open.

Think about the ceiling, It`s acting as a giant reflector, solution giant flash, a couple of metz`s should do the trick.
or try a couple of brollys, or aim one at the ceiling, and add some fill with the other. Basiacly drop the low powered ceiling bounce altogether. And look at the better alternatives.

James.

i agree, put a prism on a bronica sqa,if an image implies a square pic, you would be compromising by shooting 645. dont make sense.
buy square and keep your format options open.

am i right in saying film can not be loaded in the rollei when mounted on a tripod! as for setting exposure if you need to look at the controls you need to practice. just count the stops.regarding focúsing, use either zone focusing or hypefocal. if your on the streets at night pointing lasers, fiddling about with camera settings and looking inapt, chances are you will get mugged regardless what kit your using.
hope this sheds some more light on the subject!

van,
get yourself a mamiya c3330s, ditch the waist level finder and buy a prism finder. you have very little peripheral vision with your face stuck in a w/l finder. at night you need to know what is going on around you for safety reasons. Also it is faster to level a lateraly reversed image with a prism. As for focus. Don`t bother. Preset your lens f.22 @ 5mtrs. D.O.F. with a 80mm is 2.3m to infinity! Hit the loud button and start counting. Avoid tlrs with a fixed lens. Buy a couple of supplementary for the c330. SIMPLE!
Regards Jim.

Take a look at the y-pod, also can be used as a monopod.
The combination of a Leica and this pod would cover any photo situation including weddings.
