Thanks Scott, I appreciate your comments, and yes you are quite right, it is very rare, if any of my work on here is rated above a 4 or 4.5, strangely enough I have been experimenting with images I have been posting on here, just to see how many views or ratings they receive, it equates to, if my image shows nipples, arses, genitalia or any other form of female skin, regardless of technique, composure, or photographic skill, my views jump from the average couple of hundred to an incredible double figure thousands. Also the most critiques and views or just basic comments, seem to be from either people who have no images on P.N or photographers that take what I would call general photographs, flowers, pets and such, although I welcome all, and any critiques, I would prefer critiques, that try and tell me what I am trying to imply in my image to mean, to come from photographers that actually shoot a similar genre to me.
Now as for this image, I agree the close crop at the bottom of the image is tight, possibly too tight, but I didn't like how her elbow was sitting on the chair arm, never mind, we had a lot of fun shooting this set, and for me that is one of the reasons why I shoot images like these, it makes a change from my social and domestic work, and for those of you who like my work, I am pleased it puts a smile on your faces too.
I am fortunate enough to have friends on here, who will rate and critique my images on their merit, and not just on, he gave me a 6, so I better give him a 6 back, and I am sure we all know who these people are, and if that's what they need to keep them happy, all well and good, I don't need the accolades like that, my commissions for my work, tell me I am doing work that some people like and want, and please anyone who reads this, I am not trying to annoy them, but I have known of new photographers that have posted their work on here, to be basically shot down with sometimes cruel and unfounded critiques even about their models they have used, which has stopped them posting and have even left PN because of this. Surely this is not what photography or PN is about.
Thank you.

Ha ha, she can't be that ugly, David, she is only wearing one bag on her head, ugly ones need two, in case the first one tears lol.
Good image and it made me smile!

Hi Mark, The whole concept has nothing to do with Hitler or the Third Reich, not even the Nazi Party, the image and the shoot are from my version of George Orwell's Film 1984, where England was ruled by the INGSOC Party (English Socialists).
Thank you for the 7+ but I don't think it was given for the right purposes.

I would agree with Jim the poles are a little distracting, and why oh why did you cut the front right tyre off, it would have been such a good photo of a nice HotRod, and I know it is easy to criticise after the fact, but it is such an easy mistake to remedy, have a good look at what you are seeing in the viewfinder, and make sure that what you see is what you are after, it is easy to take away things from the image, and a lot more difficult to add.
I hope you don't mind my opinion Jack, and I am sure if you take notice you will have some damn fine images.
Kindest Regards. Giovanni.

Thanks Pierre, I might have a try and work out some more details in the shadow, this is unedited, apart from the border and resizing, I was quite surprised how well the camera coped, it was shot in manual just using evaluative metering, so I was impressed by how well it managed between the strong highlights and the shadow, but then it is a Canon I use lol.
