comments & critiques greatly appreciated.

thank you for your time and comments.

lovely. i love the green; great choice. the trees and their shawdos interplay wonderfully. i am very impressed. the human figure of course adds sentiment and mystery. great job.

you have some wonderful colours here, you capured the trees on the right wonderfully. i am happy about the detail and colour in the tree in the upper left hand corner; however i have reservations about the blown-out areas along the river to the right. i'm not sure if it's the sRGB, but the pink of these hot ground areas is distracting as well. perhaps a photoshop jaunt? anyhow, a pleasing image overall.

i am experimenting with shallow depth of field and soft focus. i am
looking to achieve pleasing texture and tonality in the image. this
is an unmodified scan of tri-x. i great appreciate any constructive
criticism. thank you.

very impressive. great shape, great design, terrific idea. awesome colour...this shot makes me jealous.

well. the thing i notice about this is the boarded up window (or so it appears to be). kinda interesting, but i wonder what you were trying to convey with the photo. it's neat tha the window sticks out because of its colour, but nothing else really compels me about the photo.

awesome beach scene. very well done. love that horizon.

appreciative of comments. thanks.

for most my night-photography i spot meter the asphalt where the light is falling and bracket off that....for this i believe i used provia 100f, cross-processed with no push/pull. aperature stopped down to f16 or f22, probably a 45sec to 1min exposure. tripod of course. it was drizzeling a bit and the wet asphalt reflected the light beautifully....i don't know what caused the circles. happy they're there though.

what makes this photo, i think, is the nuclear reactor in the background.

very provocative...makes me want to get to know her! love the diaphonous sheet in front of her.

Attempt at cross-processing chromes shot at night. this is the best
of the bunch. i don't know what caused the circle around the
streetlamp, but i like it. thanks for comments.

very well done. PS work or unmodified?

Some Photoshop to enhance colours and blur the tree branches a bit.
All comments appreciated.

one of my first attempts at long exposure street photography at
night. i think it looks pretty nice. any comments appreciated.

i understand it's a bit overexposed...but i think i got the moment
right...it's the "foot forward" pose which i like. and also the
colours, though i understand they could be saturated a bit in
photoshop. this version is unmanipulated. please comment.

i love the deep black and blown white, with the child's face being beautifully exposed. quite lovely.

was in edited? you state fuji 200 as the film, but that's a colour film, yes?
i like the shot. not always easy to get candid photos of children. you did well. good exposure and crop, imho

i wish i had stopped down a bit more to get the smalled claw (towards
the right) a little sharper...but it was handheld, so i didn't have
too much room in that direction. what do you think?
