Hey, I'm hot for contrast and skydiving, so I'm really into this - would love to see more from this day.
-
...but it looks like a bunch of body parts to me. Neat abstraction though.

Just checked the original and there's actually not a lot of manipulation on this one -- mostly just color correction to remove all the magenta from my cheapo scan. (definitely a polarizer on the lens though)

The best of the 3 of this figure - I like the way you've defined the space.
-
...not from underwater -- probably 100 or 400 tri-x or tmax, with some filtration - either a yellow or red, and just some strange luck, photoshop just for levels and contrast, nothing major.
-
Here's the original, probably with minor levels/contrast corrections.
-
Interesting - I think I actually took the original vignetting out (thank you mr. polarizer), then added a duplex blue filter that pumped up the sky and put some of the vignetting back into the top.

Yes, there is extensive photoshop work done on this photo.

Well when I didn't call it "abstract" people thought they were supposed to be seeing something and they couldn't - I just like the texture of the sky and the graphic nature of the photo, which was captured by pure luck at sunset in the desert when these birds came out of nowhere. What do I have to title something on this site for people to understand that they don't need to know what they're looking at?

Beautiful, love the composition (nice work on matching the quality of light between layers).

Caught this strolling down 42nd Street on a Summer night in 1999.
More recently manipulated.
