It would make a great ad for one of those "soothing vacation" locales.

You have matched the angle and quality of the lignt and smoothed the edges engough that this looks like a single image. Very nice composite. I also appreciate that that the light is balanced throughout the image. To top it off, it is an interesting composition. Nice job.

I think this photo is outstanding......the muted colors are very soothing, and blend ever so easily into the shadows.

that's a great idea. I really love the color of the face and that it perfectly fit's with the color of the ocean.

Just wondering how it would look a half stop brighter.

Perfection. It teases the eye, and its monochromatic tones blend beautifully. I love the half face of the girl. Being an old-timer, I was disappointed to read that this was digitally created...but that is my issue (I'll work it out in photo therapy)...it has nothing to do with the art you have created.

I wonder how it would look with the horizon a bit higher giving more foreground? Maybe this becomes a too standard 2/3rd composition. But it might be worth a try.

Don't knock it just because it's manipulated. It is a great shot... no matter how you got it. Your background should look a F-stop lighter than the girl's face. What a nice idea.
