    This '91 shot -- no D2X! no 1DsMKII! -- reminds me that the equipment only matters so much, that the photograph can only be as good as what's in the viewfinder when you click the shutter. You were there and you captured the moment. Congratulations.

    The title says it; what a terrific capture! I'm not an aficionado of insect macro photography, but this shot caught and held my eye longer than many, many photos by those who specialize in this subject.

    For me, on the other hand, the composition worked very well. I love the paws outside of the frame, next to the title. Usually I'm not taken with what I think of as poster type presentations of photos, but I think this works very well. I really like the complete package.
