Nice use of Near + Far composition. Maybe someone else could comment, but using the 20mm lens isn't the horizon always going to tilt a bit in a landscape?

Merry Christmas on Cape Cod.
-
This was a fun shot to make; I am concerned that the large roof
detracts from the mode.
-
This was taken from a bridge over a tidial inlet
I take it Naji, that as you rated this shot 1 and 1 that your comments expressing amazement are largely sarcastic. This is the first time Ive noticed that approach on Photo Net, a credit to be proud of for sure and one you richly deserve.

I think the technical details clearly state that photoshop was used to bring out the contrast. However I think this is a technique available in the darkroom using chemicals and high contrast paper. I like the forms in shapes on this one and the high contrast emphasizes those aspects.
-
I think the shapes/forms in this one, and you?
-
I set this one to high contrast to highlight the forms/shapes. Does
this work for you?

I've enjoyed looking at your Boston shots; the familiar buildings are nice to see anew, the buildings I don't recognize amaze me, good job of seeing.

"This is not a pipe"

Maybe some Pro can explain why this isn't perfect, but to me its 7-7. On the screen maybe its too dark to the right but I suspect that on the print that textures would appear. The dichotomy that the light creates make this shot; you've capture strength and vulnerability.

I find this one to be very powerful. I am not wanting to over analyze it but it works on many levels. If you are bi-racial it shows the conflict of trying to fit into two worlds. If not then it shows a struggle of a minority in a majority world. Then if you wonder what caused those lines, it makes me think of the shame and pain of slavery. In any event there is tension and conflict shown; let the viewer draw their own conclusions. That it is a self-portrait really pushes this over the top. My only concern is the title within the frame, I think it detracts and is not needed.

Nice depth of field, nice use of the sagebrush in the forground.
-
I think it needs more foreground. I would try on the Longfellow birdge with a left boundry at the Charles Stree T station (with a training on the bridge) and then sweeping to the right to get the Hancock tower and beyond. You would still get most of these buildings yet they would be closer and more detailed.

My companion hiker on the day a shot this states the color of the
Glasswort plant is true; Whats says you?
-
Glasswort is the plant featured here, in the Fall it becomes a vibrant Red with tones of pink and purple. The film was E100 VS and the light was very strong.
-
I like this one because many years from now it will be a reminder of things past. A literal snap shot of pop culture.
-
The quality of the light, the richness of the tones, the active foreground, the contrast of dark and light, the rough and then smooth textures, the over all balance, create a photo that demands admiration.
-
No film is design nor built to make the scene look exactly like what was there. This was taken with E100VS for very saturated. FYI Glasswort, the red plant shown here is a vibrant red color, and the color is the subject here. I will be posting a series on this theme. So the question pertains to the use of this film for this scene.

Comments if you please.

I think I would have cropped around the center on the vertical, but I like the style.
-
It is a great subject, walking on that upper deck is a memorable experience. I would like to see a black and white version, with all those cables it might highlight patterns
-
Thanks for the comment, this is also my favorite, I think it highlights the strong design elements of the bridge.
-
Mono-chrome works nicely here and the ghostly images add some mystery.
-
The original, I took a series aiming for a graphical look. Thanks for your input.
