I just thought of something that bothered me about the picture, the cloths.

Afr 20 years he would have not been wearing the same uniform or cloths if you could change the costume in the middle shot I think it would be even more convincing. Change the tie add some brade or loose the uniform all together.

What a very interesting and still spooky idea to mix ones present self with a ghost from the past, thus creating a middle me.

A couple of comments; overlaying the shots like this give me the impression of moving back in time from right to left except the image on the left is larger (due to the age of the subject) than the image on the right, this trips the perspective and confusses the eye. Also the middle images hands seem the biggest of the three again breaking the flow.

I understand why you have desatureated the middle image but for me at least it doesnt quite work, it could be the hands again though perhaps desaturate them completly.

But I would certainly reduce the scale from right to left slightly.

You are what you eat, true at least in this case. One question how are you lighting these shots. They are splendid.

The focus is fantastic and the DOF perfect true the bottom two leaves distract a little but ruin; no way. In a way they give a sense of a sneak shot from behind the bush if you get my meaning. Excelent picture.

Nice clean picture, was it a drop or did it float, as the surface is flat. The bubbles remained me of a soft drink and the fruit of a hard one.

It is true that the original monument is very small, the figures a less than a meter tall.

I added the sky as original was washed out due to angle, camera and season. But all the rest is as with a little tweaking of levels etc.

The funny thing with sparrows here in Berlin is they aren't as scared of people as elsewhere I have seen and if you are very calm and steady you can get quite close. Some will also feed from your hand if you are lucky.

Nice subject, nice sky. I would open the frame a little move the camera right and straighten the lighthouse, maybe crop behind the apex of the white hut. Nice shot though all the same.

Really needs framing in a dark colour to set of the flowers, the white drowns the orange dark brown or black should work, thickish border as it a small subject maybe 10 15 pix

Interesting picture shame the legs are cropped though, maybe you could move the flower left and down a little and show the legs.

I dont agree seeing half the ship gives space in front for movement and splits the scene in half, I know what a ship looks like and a lake too but the balance is the picture.

Great postcard pic, the wake of the ship gives a nice line in front of the ship and draws the eye across the image. The colours are well balanced with the funnel blending into the clouds. Nice touch the flag is clear.

The colour is wonderful, and the light is great.

The buildings at the back add interest and as you say some mystery.

It is a nice picture, I would crop right to the bench and rotate the image CCW a degree or so to bring the arms into the horizontal more, the softness of the image is nice but the colours are a little flat, just a little, maybe a little more contrast.
