I love it. The pose and the setting give a strong sense of vulnerability. The only thing that would make it better is if her expression was a little more nervous. There's a photo by Richard Morrell in the book "Fetish: Masterpieces of Erotic Fantasy Photography" of a nude woman standing in a huge victorian ballroom that captures the expression perfectly.

The colors on the screen really don't do the original chrome justice. It was my first time shooting Velvia with the 4x5 and I was just blown away by what I saw sitting on the light table.

The sense of weariness and desolation is great. It's a shame you can see the cars on the left side, if they weren't there it would be perfect...

It's tough to put a fingerprint on a digital image, isn't it?

Nope. No photoshop work on the exposure. I *did* correct the badly tilted horizon though. :-) All the La Jolla photos are actually from several years ago before I learned to slow down a little and check things like the horizon and the corners of the viewfinder...

LOVE the texture in the rock, the gradient in the sky seem awfully strong though

Good job pulling this off. At first it looked like a "model behind a hanging curtain" shot. Very good job on blending the two images.

Yeah, it's a pretty hallmark moment. It was a way of exorcising my inner greeting card designer. :-)
