laszlo 0 Posted January 28, 2002 The late afternoon light brings the texture of granite boulders to life. Link to comment
lyle_haylett 0 Posted January 28, 2002 I really like the deep colors in this photo. The composition with the rock dominating one side and the sky the other, adds to the contrast that's provided by the colors. I like this quite alot. Link to comment
dustinhenry 0 Posted January 28, 2002 I love them textures, they make me want to reach out and feel the grittyness of the rock! Link to comment
dean_cookson 0 Posted January 28, 2002 LOVE the texture in the rock, the gradient in the sky seem awfully strong though Link to comment
doug bowles 0 Posted January 28, 2002 Nice texture in the rock - lighting was just about right. Link to comment
laszlo 0 Posted January 29, 2002 In the acute side lighting of late afternoon I used a circular polarizer, leading to this strong, deep blue in the sky. Incidentally I did not notice at the time (but only when I got the slides back) how the gradient in the sky and rock go in opposite directions. Link to comment

dmadden51 0 Posted January 30, 2002 Nice blues to contrast with the earth tones. Well done. Link to comment
crawf 0 Posted February 8, 2002 The two gradients running against each other work well. The lower left is all that keeps it from becoming an abstract (which might have been interesting in itself). Link to comment
Brian 836 Posted March 12, 2002 The composition is very good - depth of focus also used to good effect. The exaggeration of the sky tone turns it into more of an abstract than a landscape. Very pleasing image. Link to comment
christos 0 Posted September 16, 2004 very good! it might be even better without so much emphasis at the bottom left.. don't know, i might be wrong Link to comment
