The exposure is dead on. The building looks to be a little tilted but It could be an optical illusion . I'm not sure about the tram.

for a beginner you are on the right track. You might try to get a lens hood to knock out the flair. otherwise a very nice shot!

The baby is in focus in he shot and you can really see the eyes well. The softness is more than likeley due to my inferior scanner.

I was reading something on this site about how all of the pictures have been taken and there is nothing original left to shoot. I think this proves that person wrong.

I beleive you have just a little to much sky in the shot. This could be a very nice picture maybe try a polarizer and go back when there might be some more clouds in the sky. Keep trying

Great Shot! Having grown up around these snakes I can say that they are not always deadly. I have known several people who have been bitten by these snakes and lived to tell about it. They will take you out of commision for awhile though. Most snakes will do their best to stay away from you, these however will chase you down. I hope you had at least a 700mm lens on this thing. or were behind glass.
