Trying to decide just how much I like this photo? Any opinions?
Thanks

Love this photo Marina. As mentioned above, great light and a beautiful and natural expression. I do, however, prefer the slightly tighter crop.
Great folder. This looks like Rajasthan. Right??

This is one of those photos that I was so excited to see when I
got home, but I knew, after taking it, that there would be a
depth-of-field problem considering the focal length. Does it
bother anyone that the closest and farthest girls are slightly out
of focus? I'm trying to decide whether or not to include this one in
my portfolio...
Thanks, Steve

...close to perfection!

Love the light and opposing colors. Perfect little cloud too. And don't you just LOVE Guanajuato??
-
and the angle! Beautiful

just forgot to check the box!

I think centering the girl would have produced a far more pleasing photo by eliminating the rather uninteresting and washed out sky. Doesn't look very sharp either; perhaps just a bad scan...?

...but I chose the darkest of a series of 3 bracketed photos becuse I like the "isolated" feeling I got. The fact that they are on a boat (on anywhere else, for that matter), didn't seem as important to me afterall. Thanks for commenting.

...it's beautiful; teetering on a 7. Nice composition, too! I'm not a big fan of overmanipulation and I'm not sure to what extent this image has been altered, but if the above scan (in the comments) is the original, I'd say there was a big change. Nevertheless, the shot is very easy on the eyes. Nice work.

Really caught my eye; great pattern; a beautiful monochromatic image!

Taken during the night parade in celebration of Los dias de los
Muertos in Oaxaca, Mexico - a fantastic time be visit Mexico!

Husband and Wife.
Great photo!

I couldn't decide if it's a really beautiful photo or just a really beautiful girl. But I think it's both.
-
I think this is a case where a polarizer would have improved things even more.
-
Not sure what you mean "captured"? The photo seems to lack a definitive subject; composition is ordinary and lighting flat. Not trying to be a jerk, but I think this particular folder lacks.

Phenomenal shot, Austin. I love the cool blues and mauves and the way the berg highlights the distant mountains. Yes, I agree, the ratings deserve to be better.

Would like your opinions on the DOF here. I intentionally used a
shallow DOF, but in retrospect, kind of wish I hadn't. Does the
shallow DOF work OK here, or would it have been a better photo
with all in focus? Thank you.

Mother and daughter at Zunil's weekly Monday market.

Great subtle lighting and pattern! Can't wait to go there.

If I could give a 9 1/2, I would. Love the colors and the contrast, as well.

I'm speechless

Not everyone is eager to be photographed, but this little girl
seemed delighted. You just gotta love that face!

This is a really beautiful photo, I love the layers in the waves and the "endless" shoreline. You're too good to be using Kodak Gold! Would love to have seen this taken with Velvia or even Provia.
