oh, and yes, a portapotty counts.

Thanks for resizing it, Lutz. I did resize it but forgot to save then uploaded the unresized copy. Cool picture with infinite reflections in the elevator! - Belina

you can visit bogen's website - they describe their products well.

Not sure if it still exists but as an art student in the 90's there was a lab we all used near 13th St. and Market. I think it was called Quaker Photo.

How about using one of those USB mini drives? I got mine for about $30, it has 128MB storage. I use it to carry files(including jpegs) from one computer to another. I saw some Lexar ones at Target recently. For Windows 2000 or newer, you don't even need the driver. If you need more memory than 256MB you might have to get a portable hard drive.

Try asking this question at PentaxUsers, a yahoo egroup. Many of the members there know a lot about repairing Pentaxes.

A new-in-box Holga, at a Goodwill, for a dollar.

Yes it's possible. Check out Mark Roberts' website:

They say they can't affect film with speeds less than 800 but I don't believe them. I think my 400 speed film was slightly fogged. My Kodak paper was ruined too.

I think I'm young and I use an Agfa Isolette II and an Agfa Jsolette. But my main camera is a Pentax Zx-5n.

You can try posting this question at pentaxusers which is a yahoo group.
You'd have to join in order to post though.

In response to an old old previous post, the Pentax MZ-M(ZX-M) doea have electronic DOF preview. It bugs me that people say it doesn't have it, like it says in September 2003 PopPhoto charts.
-
The MZ-5n is a great camera and my experience with Pentax lenses has been good - capable of very sharp photos. I've never used the lens you mention but have gotten good photos using the ProMaster version of 28-200 handheld.
Don't give up on the lens until you do some tests, e.g., using a tripod and cable release...

Check with the airline. You may be allowed to carry a small camera bag in addition to your carry-on bag. I usually stuff my camera bag into my carry on bag.

I'm wondering why some posters are so critical of his wife's question? It was a simple straightforward question about how he feels, not how she feels.
I was also not aware that Quantaray made lenses that weren't P.O.S.
I'm not embarrassed by third party lenses but I always wonder if the brand name lens would perform better. For instance I have a Cosmicar 28mm/f2.8 made by Pentax but I'm thinking of replacing it with the SMCP-M version.
-
Is it easier to acquire camera bodies where you are? If so another option would be to sell the ZX-50 and buy a ZX-M. A ZX-M body(manual focusing only)could be cheaper than a new SMCP-FA 50/f1.7 lens.

I used my K1000 for 11 years then I bought a Pentax ZX-M which I love. It has the same layout of controls, very easy to figure out w/o reading a manual. The differences: ZX-M has depth-of-field preview, electronic cable release, a better exposure meter, and - it's lighter and much easier to load! Loading the K1000 was never really easy for me so I love the auto-loading of the Zx-M. I think she'll love it too. But maybe you should skip the ZX-M and go straight to a higher model like the ZX-5n or MZ-3.

You can build a webpage easily by using the templates provided by some free webspace providers like tripod.com, msn, or geocities. Do a search for free webspace to start.

Thanks for the info Chris. Sounds like what I'm looking for. This all started when I saw photos by Barry Thornton in his book Edge of Darkness where he rated HP5+ at 160 using Luxol or some other developer. I was surprised by how sharp it could get. I love the tonal range of HP5+ and I wondered if it could LOOK sharper like Delta 100 or FP4+. I've never tried Rodinal but often hear it mentioned.

I used to use LFN but found that I have better luck just washing the film well with just water and then allowing it to hang dry.

Mary would kill me if she knew I posted her picture.
Thanks for the suggestions, especially to Greg and Conrad.
I think part of my problem is wanting a wider depth-of-field.
Now what! (I have a Bronica SQ-A system in my hands)
