He didn't notice, I shot without looking.

Yep, wonderful. Now I have to go to Syria :-). Waterwheels right? Thanks.

Interesting, but perhaps its lacking some drama or lines. I'm not sure how to improve it, sorry about that. Thanks.

Interesting, but it would work better if the sculpture was 'looking' at someone rather than past them. Thanks.

Absolute minimal information, I can barely even read the exit sign. Excellent, love it. Thanks.

Yeah, my blurries are mostly accidents, yours are very deliberate. Nice work.

Nice use of square frame.

I would have been tempted to get closer to the line between shadow and light and try to get someone's face only in the light. But that is easier said than done.

I guess I see it differently than Arjen, I'm wanting the mirror image of Dad's shadow on Mum's head. Cool shot nonetheless.

Oh yeah. This works well. Strangely I saw the painting fist (face and 'pow') and then noticed the painter. Painters face lines up nicely with a dark patch in the painting for a little delineation. Thanks.

I disagree about seeing more of the face. This is an exercise in removing unnescessary information. Nice work.

Yeah, the juxtaposition works well. The foreground makes you look up as well.
Thanks.

Thanks, actually yeah I've done nothing to it. I havn't experimented much with dodging & burning, the few times I've tried it (post scanning) I havn't been very satisfied with the results. Certainly the girl's top needs some detail, assuming its on the negative :-)

Ouch! we've lost our heads.

Very nice idea, would be very interested in further technical details. The horizontal fellow seems relatively motionless compared to the vertical fellow. Was some form of blur added to his legs? Or is that just the coke bottle you shot through :-)

Maybe single out the tree and it's shadow. I don't understand why the shadow is a problem, it creates a nice shape solidiying the original shape of the tree. Perhaps swing around and include the building behind the base of the tree, I'm not sure. The clouds on the left and open space to the left don't add anything for me. Thanks

Maybe crop the uppermost fellow off?
