Thanks, Francisco! Cant remember the exposure details only that I bracketed around 5 seconds.

I left the shutter open for a 1/4 second, I believe (at f/16 or f/22). The sheer volume of water took care of the rest.
Thanks for all the comments! Im happy to see so many people enjoy this shot as much as I enjoyed taking it :)

Hope you guys enjoy this photo as much as I enjoyed capturing it!

Thanks for the thoughtful criticism and your compliments, Len.
The dog is blurred because it wouldnt hold still. I do have another frame where the dog is less fidgety but the lady's expression is more appealing here.
Your observations about the distracting background and the uneven lighting are very valid. I probably should have tried to pull her back from the window a bit more.
If there is one thing I would definitely change if I could go back, it is to focus on her left eye instead of the right.
Thanks again for taking the time to comment!

Thanks, Glenn! Im happy you enjoyed the picture.

It's a pretty picture, but over sharpened. Either your digital camera needs to be told to sharpen less, or you need to be less zealous in your post-processing :->

Yes, my initial focus was just to the front of the squirrel by accident. The squirrel was extremely active and I wanted the shot in the can before the critter disturbed the composition. My hope was the DoF would be deep enough to compensate. A second later, the squirrel was gone into the wilderness behind...

I would really appreciate any comments about composition and
technique. Thanks in advance!

The bird in the background distracts from the sharp foreground image.

Brilliant! How did you manage to acquire such an angle?
