Love the soft colors, punchy off-white of the boat, diagonal composition, oily waters and reflection, relaxing and smooth atmosphere. Something's disturbing about the lined up boat-dock-rock-pebbles. Like it bumping on the side of the picture and leading to no-where. The sky's a bit dark too. But overall, an exquisite pic. 6/6

A vision I had that prevent me from enjoying the long chair and
cocktails before I capture it. From my trip to Greece this summer, I
believe my best photo shoot to this date. Travel to my Portfolio to
see more...!

The complementary colors, the strong horse figure against the soft herbs, the composition, the reading... this is an exquisite picture

Medaille d'or...?!!!

J'aime beaucoup ta photo Jeff. Les couleurs et les reflets sont superbes. L'horizon, pile poil au centre, m'aggace un peu. Non?! Et la base du mat du stade est tronquee. Mais tu sais que tu restes mon prefere...!

Definitely original and very special. The round swirly shapes compliment each other and the rough pavement anchors the picture. This is a great picture!

Simply perfect! I love the bright colors, the interesting angle, the big contrast, everything! Bravo!

Again, amazing colors and contrast...

I'm in love with your colors! Your portfolio is amazing, a real charm for the eye!

Magical.

The entire New York folder is great! Vibrant... And this one is the best I think. Really amazing! The colors, the grain, the angle, the two still silhouettes, the light, everything is perfect treated that way! good good job!

The look on her face... wow!

Sweet picture! Very nice details.

Composition, colors, subject... simply amazing!

The cat was really there (as he is always around when I try to take a picture!) but I guess this time it paid off. I was wondering if the fact that the cat was off focus could be a problem. But I guess I like this picture like it is. Thanks for your comments!

No filter. It was late at night and very dark (I couldn't see clearly what I was shooting, only the little white house), but overexposing and the combination of these very low clouds, full moon raising and city lights gave this picture.

I like this one a lot Jeff! It gives this "king of the world" feeling to the bug that is inexpected and original. Colors are still vibrant. Good good good! (but I've said that before!)
To answer your question: I have no idea ! Sorry... But I'll be back to see what others have to say!

Very very very nice picture! So peacefull, you get lost into it! Amazing job!

I guess the smog as more to do with this picture than I... Anyway, I
really enjoy taking pictures at night but I'm not quite there yet. I
think I still need to underexpose a bit (I really don't like the big
flashy with spots). Any thing else I should look for? Thanks for any
comments...

I like this picture a lot! The colors, the "action", the expression of the little baby... it's very nice to read! Since I have to put a little comment, I would say a little lighting on the right to clear out the left eye of the baby. But that's it! Beautifull!

Great angle (in fact, it gave me ideas for myself!! oups!). The perspective, the colors, everything work! But as Ian said, maybe the bug is not at its best place in the picture. I tried reframing it on my computer, and when the bug was on top of the flower (centered, altough I usualy don't like things centered!), the image seemed more powerfull. And I don't know if it's possible, but the bug is a bit small... But as you said, your original shows more details.
Great shot.
