Interesting pig, but you must choose a different angle or get closer or something as there is way to much extraneous stuff in your picture. The bike has got to go and the kiosk to the right doens't help either.

Great idea! The shaving itself is very pleasing. I think I would shoot it again on a less distracting background. The texture of the table cloth takes one's eye away from the pattern of the shaving. I'd fill the frame with the shaving too, leaving less dead space around the perimeter.

Nicely lit and nicely selectively focused.

Good eye to recognize the potential of this simple scene. The colors are beautiful. I wish you could have fished out of the water that white piece of trash floating fairly close to your vantage point.

Who are the "elves" you refer too? The folks at photo.net who select the print of the week?

Very clever, and quite attractive.

I find the concentration of dark shadows in the middle/bottom of the print somewhat dominating. I wonder if it was possible to move left or right, or to rearrange the way the curtains hung in order to achieve a more uniform tonality. I like this photo a lot though. Very original and it bespeaks a good eye to spot this image in every day surroundings.

My guess is that you did not have a polarizer filter on your lens when you shot this. It would have greatly enhanced the photograph by deepening the blue of the sky and making the colors of the umbrellas and chairs more vivid. I think also, I would have pointed the camera down a little bit more to get more of the reflections at the expense of what I regard as excessive sky.

You evidenced a good eye and originality to spot this image. Beautiful color, not only in the boat itself, but in the reflected colors in the water. Might you consider cropping the right side a little tighter to the boat? There is a bit of dead space that could be reduced. Great photo.

Photo.net said "something penetrating and ominous about the man's expression....the grace of his hands, to the fall of the coat, to the shadows, to the reflection in the window." Come on! It is a well-executed commercial or studio shot. I don't believe for a second that this is a grab shot or a street shot. For me that lessens the impact.

Beautifully exectuted photograph. The selective focus, the coloration and gradation from pink to white are wonderfully done. My only suggestion to improve the photographs would be better balance between the amount of white petals to the top and bottom. The focal point of the coloration, the center of the bud is too low in my opinion. I'd like to see more of the whiteness of the lower petals for better balance. But, I think it is a very appealing and beautiful photograph. Nicely done!

Very sculptural. Nicely lit. Original.

I love this serene photo. It is so expressive, I can feel the temperature. Wonderfully exposed. Love the detail in the tree roots. About the only thing I'd change is having a little bit of the face of the blond-headed person be visible. I think a little profile would be better than having his(her) head turned totally away from the viewer.

A lot of people shoot pictures at air shows, hence my lower mark on originality. But the execution of this shot is terrific. You were fortunate to have an interesting sky. The relections off of several of the wings adds interest. I might cropped this to have made it a bit narrower. There is a lot of dead space to the right, and a little to the left side of the frame.

This is more interesting than aethetically pleasing. I commend the maker for seeing the geometry of the image, but it isn't compelling or beautiful, just interesting.
