Keeps the birds or dump the birds? Inquiring minds want to know! :)
-
Tried to get closer - but he was actually perched on top of the eaves
of the hotel, so I tried to frame him and the mass of the crowd. I'm
wondering where to crop it. Any thoughts?
-
nice look through the past.
-
I find the cropping strange - I can't put my finger on it but I would have like to see the girl taking up more of the frame... hmm..
-
no problem - it's a good photo :)
-
sweet - very sweet. The retouching was a good idea.
-
this ones a bit too grainy and cropped strange - if they were going towards the crowd over the flag it might be good, but right no. Sorry :(
-
oh yeah, please check out hte others in this series as well, if you wish. Thanks (they're located here:

about 30000 people showed up for a march through vancouver's
downtown. This guy got caught up against his car and had to wait for
them to pass by. He didn't seem very happy. What do you think about
the color balance? I think my scanner is really balckening things as
they get scanned and I'm not really happy about the sky either.
-
I would have liked to have the runner in focus and the baground blurred - like if you followed the runner as he passed by.
-
caught this kid up against the vancouver library at the start of a
30,000 person march. Kind of annoyed by the non contrasted sky, but
it was quite light, and I can't process c41 at home, so too bad. Any
suggestions?

I'd like to see the rest of that wave on the left side. It might be cropped a little too tight.
-
to me there is no point of interest in it. I think it might be better if you focused it in on the arches more and ignored the tree..either that or focus in on the visual relationship between the tree and the arches. Make a visual statement.

I like this photo for the expression on the face and for the red
flag, but do you find it too overpowering? Or to annoying?
-
Took this snapshot of protestor at a rally in Vancouver. Was with a
non manual digital so, not amazing quality, but hey what can you do?
Changed it a bit in Photoshop. Do you find it too dark or the
background too distracting? Thanks.
-
I don't think that's photoshopped, look closely at the reflections in the glass. Also note the red caution tape, they wouldn't put that up unless they had time to which denotes they're just finishing up the fire, the cafe could have opened up again in that time.
This is one of those photos that you must have been "meant" to take. Excellent job.

I like the colour in this one, the contrast of cold and warm colours,
but I'm concerned about the cropping of the photo. There is some more
of the bottom of the photo I could include, but unfortunately not of
the top. Is it okay anyways? What say you?

Taken with a mid/low range digital camera. It has been modified in
photoshop, to the point of being cropped and changed to only the red
channel (to go to b&w). What do you think? Too grey, too much
contrast? Bad crop?
Others in this series are located in the korean folder under my
account.
Thanks!
