I have to admit that it's a better photo for being 'retouched' by the elimination of distracting elements. I'd probably suggest burning in the upper left corner a bit more, since it's bright enough to compete with the little boy, and tends to draw your eye out of the frame.

Posed??? Thanks for the high ratings but I can assure you that this is totally candid and I don't know the person on the photo. If it was posed I wouldn't have to remove the other person that was distracting on the original photo...

I like the framing of this shot.. At first glance, it seems to be just digitally altered.

I like the shot, quick thinking on your part and great results! The one thing that bothers me the most...is the caption ;) To me this is more of a "serious" message, especially with the adult (father/brother) and the child and the cannon hole. A contrast between life, innocence and the senseless devastation of war. That is what "I" see in it...not a dangerous .two headed man...aside from the dangerous duality of mankind, that is :)
