I have started working on a series of photo's on trees. They are all
around us, and give us a sense of rejuvenation, but hardly give them
a second thought.
Please let me know what you think.
Cheers!

Thank you for your comments. I did want the shot to be an environmental depiction rather than just a shot of an owl, I can only hope I achieved that here.
The lens I was using was a Tamron 100-300 F5.6/6.3 fully extended. A Canon 500mm F4L is on my wish list though.
I followed this guy around for a while and he let me get rather close... check out http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=3099719.

This is a post I have walked by a hundred times when visiting a
local conservation area (Mill of Kintail). This day I found it more
interesting than others I guess.

This is a shot I took just outside my back door. There was a fallen
tree and the root ball made a nice safe resting place for this deer.

I am trying to get more "feeling" into my photos. Please review and
critique.

Nice departure from your regular style. Keep up the great work. I envy you your studio/equipment... and lets not forget, your wonderful selection of outstanding models.
Cheers!

I love this game... the only suggestion I would have is to color the tie red for more impact.

I took this exact same shot when I lived in Angus. :-)
It really is an amazing sculpture, you have captured its essance very well.
The hard part is to show that the "Wings" move in the wind. And we won't even go into the spooky sounds it makes on a windy day :-))
Great exposure. Cheers!

Its William Peter Blady.. at least I think thats what his name is.. the exorcist... Am I the only one who sees this ;-))
A wonderful shot, beautifully executed. Congrats.
Cheers!

Only a few portraits can get away with this amount of grain.. and this one is bang on!
Keep up the great work.

We had the idea for this shot on the spur of the moment. She looked
so good in that dress we needed to add some contrast. This was the
result. Enjoy!

I am a big fan of negative space and you have executed it wonderfully.

This is an alternate cropping of another photo I have in my
portfolio. Please let me know which one you prefer, as well as any
comments you may have to improve the composition.
Oh, don't be afraid to rate either one ;-))
Cheers!

There is a different crop of this photo in my portfolio. I would
appreciate it if you would check out both and let me know which, if
any, works from a compositional point of view.
Please Rate and critique.
Tks.
An end too soon.
