Jack, what country would that be? :)

Alberto - thanks. And hearty congratulations for being selected for this month's Editor's Pick for your Central Park photo. Bravo!

Thanks so much.

What an event this was! I've just finished processing all the photos I shot for my designer friend and he is so pleased. And I feel great - I tackled a new type of photography, learned a new camera and lens and managed to survive the stress that a runway fashion shoot generates.

What next?

And to think this photograph was taken in Tampa, and not in N'awlins!

This is a stunning capture of the subject's very flamboyant attire and accessories. The colors jump right off the screen. However, it's her face that really makes the shot. The shadows under her eyes, along with her focus and the half smile on her lips, gives her quite an impish - and, yes, sexy - appearance.

My sincere compliments. This is awesome work.

Such wonderful words - thank you so much.

I never know how people find each other on PN. But I'm glad that we do.

Have a good one -

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm so sorry it took this long to reply - somehow I missed your post.

I have not had any time for Photo.net lately but hope to in the near future.

Thanks much.

Looks like my comment on your Wild Daisies attracted two other viewers and I'm glad. This is the way it should work. Follow what your favorite photographers are looking at and you will no doubt find gems.

Great portrait - and a great "The Big Easy" feeling that is conveyed by your shot.  Although you took it in Tampa... ;-) D700 is especially a great tool for shooting portraits, I believe. Although I employ Canon... ;-). BR / Volker

Thanks! Nikon, Canon . . . if you buy the right glass, know your camera and use it's features correctly, I don't think the brand really makes that much difference.

I echo those sentiments entirely, it's the application of knowledge that makes the difference. But back to your photo : -  I see great detail in every facet of the image, a wonderfully obliging subject it would seem, and a very cheeky smile, suffice to say, a visual delight.

Best Regards

Alf
