City Rain

WOW! What a beautiful and stylish composition and soft colours,Laurent. I like this image for its simplicity and sophistication.

Another Parisian gem to cherish. I love the free form zig-zag effect those details of her outfit create against the vertical pattern of that skyscraper and those horizontal lines.

All three of your last posts are wonderful. They have a clean and crisp look, with a sparkling optimistic feel to them. This is my favorite. It almost has a picture within a picture sense to it that is very charming. The way the image is divided with the person under the bar works quite well. Even though it is apparently raining, there is brightness in it. Very nice.

Classic. The curves and folds of her umbrella and coat are a perfect complement to the angularity of the rest of the photo. Every element is where it should be.

For some reason it makes me think of Winged Victory blown from her ancient moorings into a modern urban environment.
