Another great portrait under difficult lighting. I like her sad look, and the beer tops it off.

A lot of negative space there, and you have made it work for you. The beer seems to arise from out of nowhere, perhaps as a temptation or a continuing curse. This one strikes me as not so polished, and I like its spontaneity.

Joe, I like this one a lot, beacuse the partly shown parts sorting from the negative surrounding, are enough to tell the story. I like the hand on her shoulder, the feeling it conveys is of lonliness near the bottle, thoughts, sadness.As usual very well composed and executed.

I love this because I feel a story about her sitting in a bar nursing a drink, on a Friday night, seemingly alone and upset. Great shot with very little background showing, but lots of deep darkness, and lots of emphasis on her expression. Wonderful work.

Joe, this is a very powerfully compelling image and very moving. She is so deep into her beer... actually, her thoughts, and the hand on her neck and the very slightly wrinkled brow say she's very troubled about something, like she might be trying to make a difficult life decision. Your capture so clearly shows the dark place she's in, and how alone. If I were there, I'm sure I'd want to go up to her and ask, "What's troubling you? Do you want to talk?"
