laurent_jaussi 0 Posted September 2, 2007 A very clean image carefully composed with this leading border left...yes it looks like an UFO...funny title...:-) Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted September 2, 2007 For sure it is unlike any house I have ever seen. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted September 3, 2007 H O L Y - c O w ! What other planet were you visiting? Someone has way too much money and is spending it in a way that is not becoming to the world in its current state. David, thank you much for showing us the other side of the world. It is really amazing. Link to comment

bosshogg 4 Posted September 3, 2007 This is one of the few other worldly places that Susan didn't provide for me. Glad you liked it. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted September 3, 2007 I scrutinized the photo for little green men, but I guess they merge with the grass so I didn't find any. This must be the wackiest photo of this type (houses) I've ever seen. Hey, did you spend some time playing with the gate's keypad? Maybe you'd be lucky and hit the launch code. The colours are nicely vivid without being overboard. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted September 3, 2007 Thanks. Actually, I tried to make the grass a little overboard, thinking it went with the theme. This is what I think your most V8 house would look like. It has the wacky style I think you might go for when you hit the lotto and overdosed on V8 trying to celebrate. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted September 4, 2007 in that case you'd have a waterfall coming off the balcony. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted September 4, 2007 Well, you can't expect me to get all the details right, can you? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 4, 2007 I think the grass is perfectly overboard. I just commented on another photo that made me think of Edward Scissorhands. This does too, in a kind of stark suburbia meets the weird future sort of way. You've given it that hyper-real sense that I think you've attempted in a few recent photos, most successfully (to me) here. It's a great composition with the perfect sky of a rather unusual place presented in just the right way by someone who sees and shares a lot of this idiosyncratic world we inhabit and have created. bosshogg 4 Posted September 4, 2007 Thanks. You always seem to comprehend what I am trying to say, and sometimes you express it better than I can. This place is just so over the top. The flying saucer, the over-saturated grass and sky, and the finishing touch is those little lunar globes on the top of the pillars. I have to admit, I'd love to see the inside of this monster. radioactive 0 Posted July 6, 2008 David, I keep coming back to this....and you know me... I cant leave real enough alone. So... I had some PS fun with this one and thought you might like my symetircal version. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted July 7, 2008 Very nice. I'm kind of surprised you didn't place some alien spacemen types in the image. Or at least a naked spacewoman with wings. lol Link to comment
radioactive 0 Posted July 8, 2008 Belive me David.. I did think about it... long and hard... but figured a simple mirror / symetrical whatever... would be fine. I didnt want to play with this one toooooo much... just enought to let you know I care. :) Link to comment
