I just visited our new deYoung Museum here in San Francisco and it has an impressive array of American paintings, from colonial to modern. This would have fit right in. Your sensibility for composition, color, and texture is quite artistic. This makes perfect sense in an abstract world and does go that extra step to be even more interesting than most. There are lines, direction, movement, stability, and that yellow punctuation mark. Very, very nice.

Thanks. This was not one of my favorites, but sometimes I post things I'm not particularly enamored of simply to see if others feel the same way. It's nice that someone like you, who I consider a pretty tough judge of art, sees something in it.

They just keep getting better, you were a "busy boy" while we were in Ingomar! I'll probably be there Monday, we're going to make another run on gathering bulls, hopefully this time the job will get done. How you find these images just amazes me.
