jeffl7 0 Posted August 2, 2007 Cool shot. The textures are great. The yellow square is like the visual push-pin that holds this all together. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted August 2, 2007 Thanks. You are absolutely correct about that little box. Without it the image would be deadly dull. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 2, 2007 A strong composition. You have arrange the various elements into a coherent whole. Nice textures as well. Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted August 2, 2007 David, how I envy you. You have lost yourself in a paradise of visual images, a feast for the eyes, and you are having the time of your life! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 2, 2007 I just visited our new deYoung Museum here in San Francisco and it has an impressive array of American paintings, from colonial to modern. This would have fit right in. Your sensibility for composition, color, and texture is quite artistic. This makes perfect sense in an abstract world and does go that extra step to be even more interesting than most. There are lines, direction, movement, stability, and that yellow punctuation mark. Very, very nice. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted August 2, 2007 Thanks. This was not one of my favorites, but sometimes I post things I'm not particularly enamored of simply to see if others feel the same way. It's nice that someone like you, who I consider a pretty tough judge of art, sees something in it. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted August 3, 2007 You are right, I am having the time of my life. But what will I do when the current stockpile of raw images is exhausted? Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted August 4, 2007 They just keep getting better, you were a "busy boy" while we were in Ingomar! I'll probably be there Monday, we're going to make another run on gathering bulls, hopefully this time the job will get done. How you find these images just amazes me. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted August 4, 2007 Well don't be getting drunk! Actually, I was not all that crazy about this one. Neither were the raters. Link to comment
