Third of a series of photos taken at this location in the winter of 2004 during a field trip with fellow PN member Greg McCracken. I took about 10 shots that morning, some of which already appear in my 2004 folder in B&W as well as colour. My next few posts will simply fill in the blanks. All these posts were originally in colour but were desaturated in PS using Channel Mixer and whatever filter seemed best for the shot. I used the blue filter on this one to lighten the scene which was lit primarily with the blue light of the open sky. Thanks for taking the time. Tech details: 1/8 sec @ f16, tripod & cable release. Best, LM.

Looks very nice to me, Len. I think that I will make it my wallpaper until autumn comes and this infernal humidity of the Deep South goes away.

Lannie, Always a pleasure hearing from you. I hear it was hotter yesterday in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan than it was in Houston, Texas. Go figure! But if this shot, as wallpaper, makes you feel cooler, go crazy! I have lots more:) Best, LM.
