vincentoiseau 83 Posted April 17, 2021 Hi Giangiorgio, your photo of this parakeet eating flowers is very appealing. Not only because of the contrasting colors, but the raw quality of spring light adds a lot to this great composition. It seems you came pretty close with a 300 mm lens, or maybe this is a tight crop. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
Todd Kraenzel 1 Posted April 17, 2021 A beautiful bird surrounded by beautiful flowers. I am certain this bird has been looking forward to this treat all winter. Warmest regards, Todd Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 477 Posted April 17, 2021 Thank you very much Gregory and Verena for your much appreciated comment. The parakeets are alien to our territory, for about ten years some couples escaped from the cages, have rapidly multiplied and now they flutter free around the city , ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 477 Posted April 17, 2021 Grazie mille Vincent for your nice comment, much appreciated. I'm glad you enjoyed it. These parakeets got used to the comings and goings of people in the park and are very confident, the photo was taken from under the tree, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment

michaellinder 16,612 Posted April 24, 2021 Giangiorgio, I apologize for the impression that I ignored your work until now. There's another explanation, that's to laborious to mention. Since the previous. commentators seem to have covered all the image's strengths, I won't repeat them. During my lifetime, I've been fortunate to have quite a few parakeets. The last one, whose name was White Boy," let me hold him while he was on his back in the palm of a hand and to stroke hi is breast, which was silky smooth. Thanks for prompting a favorite memory. - - My best always, Michael - - Ciao! Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 477 Posted April 25, 2021 Michael you have nothing to apologize for, your visit is always welcome and your interesting comments always greatly appreciated. These parakeets escaped from cages long ago and have now multiplied and spread throughout the city parks. You who have known them so well, share my pleasure of observing and photographing them. ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment

tai 3 Posted May 26, 2021 Charmig scene, Giangiorgio! This is probably very tasty and this parrot is happy to feast on. Have you tasted it? Google told me about this tree. Both the flowers and the bird are perfectly captured, Bravo! Excuse my belated comment. Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 477 Posted May 26, 2021 Tatiana, you have nothing to apologize for, your visit and your nice comments are always very welcome. Honestly I have never tasted these flowers, they must have a very sweet nectar that attracts these parakeets, next year I will try to taste them. ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
