Giangiorgio Crisponi 463 Posted October 27, 2020 Autumn in Laguna - Gray heron (Ardea cinerea) . I photographed this gray heron (Ardea cinerea) in the lagoons of Cagliari. In this autumnal period the Salicornia (Salicornia europaea) after the summer flowering assume a reddish hue that color with this warm tone the lagoons around Cagliari, Thanks for your comments. michaellinder 16,611 Posted October 27, 2020 Giangiorgio, this image is exceptionally strong - composition, perspective, etc. etc. The bird's coloration fits quite naturally with the foliage in the scene.
