This is an image that instantly gets your attention. The colors seem both appropriate and a bit surprising. My one little nitpick is that I would have liked a bit more detail on the left side, about the same amount of boke as on the right.

Jack, as usual, your highly educated photographic eye led to a thoughtful set of comments. Quite honestly, there was no bokeh in the original image. Instead of using vignetting to emphasize the subjects, I used blur. I'll try adding more detail to the left side; I'll let you know how it turns out.
